When Louisiana's children endure abuse, law enforcement sends them to a Children's Advocacy Center — a safe place where a child tells their story once, to trained professionals, instead of being passed between agencies and forced to relive the worst moments of their lives over and over.

CACs coordinate the forensic interview, the investigation, the prosecution, and the mental health treatment under one roof. Louisiana has 14 of them, and together they serve every corner of the state.

LACAC — the Louisiana Alliance of Children's Advocacy Centers — is the statewide organization that trains, coordinates, and strengthens them all. Your sponsorship funds the ongoing professional development these teams need but their operating budgets can't cover.

Your Investment Trains the People Who Protect Louisiana's Children.

CACs run on shoestring budgets. The money goes to keeping the lights on, paying the forensic interviewer, and making sure there's a therapist in the building when a child needs one. What there's almost never money for is ongoing training and professional development — the advanced skills that make the difference between a good outcome and a great one for a child in crisis.

Every dollar a sponsor invests means one more CAC professional gets the training they need to do their job better. That's not an abstraction. That's a child in a room with someone who knows exactly how to help them — because your company made it possible.
